GRATITUDE

We are in a time where worry, anxiousness, uncertainty, and fear are ruling our mindsets. Rather than trusting the Lord, gratitude, and renewing. Many look at this time as a setback when really it can be a time of propelling ourselves forward.
When we decide to set our minds on the things that we are grateful for it is extremely hard to complain. So, I have decided to begin my days with gratitude whether that is verbally speaking them, or writing them down (whichever works for you.) Grab a journal if you want, open the notes app on your phone, grab a cup of tea or coffee and simply sit and think. Take time to begin your day with gratitude and end your day with gratitude.
One activity I am going to participate in is being a light for other people. Encouraging others, checking in on others, spreading love. One way to do this is simply text a friend things that you love about them, and the reason you are grateful for them. This is a simple way to truly brighten someone's day and encourage them.
We have an opportunity right now to slow down in life, take a moment to enjoy what we have, spend time with our families, do a hobby we always wanted to do but never had the time. We get to either let this opportunity slip through our fingers, or grab it and capitalize on it. It is all about our mindset and the trust that this too shall pass.
So, what are you grateful for? What do you have in life that is beautiful? What are you excited to try during this time?
XOXO Kels
